BMW, consisted of Marley himself as song writer and lead singer, 6-7 regular musicians in Wailers Band and the I Threes backup female vocalists. The compilation is intended to be a career-spanning retrospective, and no fewer than two songs are selected from each of Bob Marley and the Wailers' albums with the company. Songs range from his first album for the label, Catch a Fire, and span all the way through to the last album Marley would live to see released in his lifetime, Uprising, concluding with the posthumous releases. Concrete Jungle. The Wailers. Produced by Jack Nuber, Chris Blackwell & Bob Marley. Album Catch a Fire. Concrete Jungle Lyrics. No sun will shine in my day today No sun will shine The high yellow moon won't come out to play That high yellow moon won't come out to play I said darkness has covered my light Darkness has covered my light And has changed my day into night, yeah And has changed my day into night Where is. Won't someone tell me Cause life Sweet life Must be somewhere to be found Has got to be, out there somewhere for me Instead of concrete jungle Jungle, jungle, jungle Where the living is hardest Concrete jungle. On the other hand, just because it's easy to listen to doesn't necessarily mean it's simpleminded: his highlife-flavored introduction to Africa Unite segues nicely into a rhythmically tough and surprisingly faithful setting of one of Marley's best repatriation anthems, and his bouncy take on Simmer Down nicely recalls the Wailers' wonderful early days as a ska band. Instead of a concrete jungle where the livin' is hardest. Concrete jungle, oh man, you've got to do your best, yeah. No chains around my feet, but I'm not free. I know I am bound here in captivity. Won't someone help me Cause, sweet life, I've, I've got to pick myself from off theground, yeah. In this here concrete jungle, I say, what do you got for me now Concrete jungle, oh, why won't you let me be now I said life, sweet life, must be somewhere to be found, yeah. Instead of a concrete jungle, illusion, confusion. Concrete jungle, yeah. Concrete jungle, you name it, we got it, concrete jungle now. Concrete jungle, what do you got for me now
