Best of the 'B' Sides is a compilation of B-sides by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 4 November 2002 as part of the Eddie's Archive box set. It covers all of their singles from their first 1980's Running Free to 2000's Out of the Silent Planet, although several of the band's original B-sides were excluded from the collection: Total Eclipse from Run to the Hills, 1982, although this. 1 - Burning Ambition 2 - Drifter live 3 - Invasion Remember Tomorrow live 4 - I've Got The Fire 5 - Cross-eyed Mary 6 - Rainbow's Gold 7 - King definitive Iron Maiden Album. I would actually say that Power slave is better to listen to but tracks Number of the Beast and Run to the hills are all time classics and were so important for metal and Maiden at the time. Hallowed be thy Name is an absolutely fantastic track also. If you want to get into Iron Maiden, get this and Power slave and you will be hooked. One of the best albums through out history, and ofc Iron Maidens best album, with one of the worlds greatest songs ever, Hallowed Be Thy Name. Up the irons. Seventh Son of a Seventh. Songs in album Iron Maiden - Best Of The 'B' Sides 2002. Iron Maiden - Burning Ambition , Iron Maiden's Best of the B'Sides is full of wonderful gems, many of which are better than some of their album offerings-especially in the case of any tracks from the No Prayer for the Dying days. Kill Me Ce Soir, Burning Ambition, Doctor Doctor, and Reach Out are some of the surprise highlights. i did feel that some of the jokey tracks weren't all that impressive, but those are avery small selection on this collection. I love Iron Maiden. I've got all the studio albums except the New Frontier, therefore I never felt the need to get the single albums that would come out with each studio album. so I didn't know what came on the b-sides. Ranking Iron Maiden albums in order of greatness is the hardest choice any metalhead has ever had to make but we take one for the team and give it a go. Maiden were on fire at this point: Killers was an explosive confirmation of the immense potential the band had shown on their debut, with an even greater sense of momentum and conviction thrown in. I assume this is due to it being marked as an unofficial release (a label usually used for bootlegs) when in fact it is an officially released item, and only has that status due to only ever being properly released as part of the box set and not separately; but really I do agree with you, I don't quite see why Discogs needs to prevent people from separating the components of the box set, especially seeing as each does have it's own catalogue number etc.
